To qualify for LASIK, you need to meet these basic requirements:

You must be atleast 19 years of age

Demonstrate refractive stability for at least the previous year

Have realistic expectations from the procedure

Recovery from LASIK is extremely rapid. Most patients return to normal activity the very next day, and are able to return to work within 24-48 hours after surgery. Patients are also prescribed eye drops that will reduce the risk of infection, control post-operative inflammation and improve comfort and healing.
